OSRAM HALOSTAR® 24V for applications that call for high levels of illuminance. HALOSTAR® 24V UV-absorbent quartz suppresses unwanted UV radiation. The bleaching effect as defined by IEC has been reduced by up to 80% compared with conventional pin-base lamps. Complies with the strictest UV protection thresholds (IEC 60432).
The base pins are tempered to protect against corrosion.
The axial filament ensures optimum directional light. The lamps should be operated only in enclosed luminaires. For HALOSTAR® 24 V a miniature fuse is needed (on the secondary side if a transformer is used): 2 A quick-acting for 64435 U, 4 quick-acting for 64445 U, 6.3 A quick-acting for 64460 U and 10 A quick-acting for 64465 U
