QUICKTRONIC® and OSRAM DULUX® L and OSRAM DULUX® F lamps make a significant contribution to modern lighting since they allow manufacturers to produce omni-directional compact ceiling luminaires with square louvers.
QUICKTRONIC®, the fully electronic, high-frequency compact control gear offers greater comfort, greater economy and greater reliability than the conventional choke/starter circuit. QUICKTRONIC® and OSRAM DULUX® L make a significant contribution to modern lighting since they allow manufacturers to produce omni-directional compact ceiling luminaires with square louvers for economical and pleasant light. The extra small dimensions of an OSRAM DULUX® L 18 W and OSRAM DULUX® F are of particular interest for high-intensity table and wall lights.
Comfort:
Flicker-free starting
Pleasant flicker-free light with no stroboscopic effects thanks to high-frequency operation
Comfortable lighting with no distracting hum thanks to fully electronic operation
No flashing or flickering; the electronic fault monitoring circuit disconnects defective lamps
Economy:
Depending on lamp type, 12 to 52% increase in system luminous efficacy
Lower maintenance costs thanks to long life and longer relamping intervals
Reduced load on air conditioning systems because less heat is generated.
Safety:
Safety shutdown of the power supply in the event of a lamp defect or at the end of their life
Complies with European standards for safety, operation and EMC
Overvoltage protective circuit for short-duration voltage surges (DIN VDE 160) and for temporary overvoltages
Greater safety thanks to low equipment temperatures
Suitable for use in emergency lighting systems to DIN VDE 0108
General:
Supply voltage: 230 to 240V
Mains frequency: 0, 50 to 60 Hz
Lamp start: Lamp start within 2 s with optimum filament preheating. If there is a temporary interruption in the power supply (< 0.5 s) the lamp will start within 0.3 s.
The battery voltage may drop to 176 V. The lamps must be ignited at over 198 V however; 100% of the luminous flux with dc operation
Automatic restart of replacement lamps
